Happy New Year!!

So this will be my last post of 2008!

I am getting ready to head to down to Orlando with Lauren and Micah for our dear friend Victoria's birthday party and the Metro New Years lock-in. (Yes I'm 20 and I still go to lock-in's...I can't help it they're fun!)

I pray that everyone had a safe and an absolutely wonderful time doing whatever you are doing to welcome in 2009!

Hot Chocolate? Not unless it's ICED!

I am officially moved out of my appartment and am back in my old room until January 4th. It's so weird being back in the house, but I am grateful that my grandparents came back for the holidays. My room is a mess though, of course! You can barely walk around in it because I have so much stuff! But I'm getting it all put away and separated so that I know what I am taking with me to Daytona.

I wish it was colder outside so that I could wear my new jacket! It always seems to happen with me, I buy something new for the current weather and then it changes drastically on me! Oh well, that's what you get for living in Florida!

So let's see here, there really isn't anything new going on in my life. Someone asked me that the other day and it took me a while to find an answer for them. I'm kinda in limbo right now with all of the new stuff that's going on in my life. Of course, I'm sure there are things going on behind the scenes that I don't know about yet. That's how it is with everyone I suppose. You just wait contently to see what God has next for your life.

Things with school are still the same. I'm still waiting for Bright Futures to reinstate me for the Spring semester. I can't register for classes until then. And it's really bad because I'm hoping the college will even still have my classes available! They might be full by the time I'm ready to register. But it's all in God's hands and I know that everything will work out in time.

I can't wait for the cold front to come back through! This weather is killing me! (Hence the blog title)

So I am offically moved out of the appartment and I am back in my old room...which is a mess because I need to put everything away and separate what I am taking with me to Daytona.

19 days!!! =D

I am almost finished Christmas shopping...I love working at a clothing store where your whole family likes everything in there! So yeah...PacSun for the fam this year! It's such a blessing to work there, and I am definately going to miss it.

Lauren will be home later today! She's been gone since the 2nd and I miss her a lot! It's been really quiet around the house without her here, but she has loved being up in MN and being with our family up there.

I would ask that you guys be praying for me right now...I have been having some difficulty with my BrightFutures and whether or not I will be able to use it for the Spring semster. I really need it otherwise I will probably have to take out a loan, which is what I am trying my very best not to do! Well that's it for today...I still have a lot of stuff that I need to get done!

Yay for the last week of school! =)

> So I think everyone should listen to LightForce radio!! It's all Alternative/Hard Rock Christian music...and I love it!! www.lightforceradio.com It's on some local Florida Christian stations but Daytona doesn't have it...so I've been getting used to listening to it online! It's so great! =)

> We've been doing new floor sets at work...so I'm dressing mankins and folding clothes and hanging shelves and hanging clothes and and getting clothes out of the back to hang or fold!! It's pretty much basic retail stuff...or basic clothing store stuff. I like it though! I never thought I would, but I really do. It's just hard though...being around super cute clothes all day and then coming to home to my wardobe! haha, it needs help...=) It's also hard because since I'm folding clothes all day I don't want to do laundry! But I guess I'll have to get over it! ;-)

> So my friend Stephanie Cisar is getting married in 5 weeks and 5 days! Hahaha...I'm on the countdown with her! I am so excited for her and Micah...they are the most adorable couple I've ever seen and I can't wait to see them get married and being their life together!

> Well this is finals week and I only had two classes this semester...so I only have two finals! One is cumulative and the other isn't...so I think I'm going to get the big cumulative one out of the way first and then take my easier one so I'm not stressing out! I can't wait for school to be over with so that I can focus on tranferring all my stuff to UCF! I never thought that it would be so difficult to transfer to a school. But I guess it's just because I'm two hours away and I can't just go there whenever I can to get stuff done.

I am dreaming tonight...

Well this is my last week of school...it's FINALS week!! I can't wait for it all to be over with. Then I can just relax and work and then get ready to start packing.
My grandparents will be here on the 17th...so I need to be moved out of the appartment by then. Which will be nice because I can start packing for when I move in January too.

So Friday night Micah and I went to the SGC Christmas Coffee House...it was so much fun! I can't wait till I'm there all the time!

Yesterday I was really sick...which normally happens when I'm getting ready for finals. My body seems to know when finals week is and my immune system just gets really weak and I always catch something. =/
But I'm better today and I'm going to be able to go to the Christmas Gala at church tonight! But I won't be able to stay long because I have to come back home and study! Which is what I should be doing now...

It's December? Seriously?

I couldn't believe it. I woke up this morning and looked at my phone, " Mon, Dec 1 ", and I had to do a double-take. Was it really December 1st?
Well no matter how much I stare at the date on the calender...it's here...it's December.

Don't get me wrong. I'm so excited for Winter & Christmas & New Years! It's just...this year has flown by! It feels like it was just yesterday that I was gearing up for Spring Break. That I graduated from SFC. That we spent the weekend up at Camp Kulaqua for Celebration.
It seems as though the older I get the faster time seems to go by. But I have been so grateful for this past year! God has grown me so much and I have learned a lot from everything that I have gone through.

I am looking forward to this last month here in Gainesville. I can't wait to see all that God has in store for me as I prepare to move to Daytona!

Yesterday Uncle Phil talked about prayer during his message and how we are all to be persistent in prayer for ourselvles and in prayer for others. I want to grow in praying for others...so if anyone has prayers requests and you would like me to pray for you please let me know! I would love to pray for you and encourage you! =)
