Matthew 6:25-34

25 “Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?
26 Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?
27 And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life?
28 And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin,
29 yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
30 But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
31 Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’
32 For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all.
33 But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
34 “Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

Lord, I pray that you will bring me a peace about these next two weeks. I pray that you will provide the sufficient funds that I need to make it though. I pray that I will not become anxious...worried...or freak out, but that I will wholly trust in what you have planned for me. Thank you for you provision so far during this season of my life. I'm so grateful for such a wonderful Father.
In Your Name - Amen

Pondering

A friend of mine recently made a comment to me that's been on my mind...

"You're so lucky. You're so independent."

Frankly...I don't try to be, but I just am. But I've been thinking...is it a bad thing that I am so independent?
I'm definately submissive...to my parents and other authorities in my life. I love hearing from my close friends ways that they see I might need to change...and I gratefully accept it!
But I love to do things on my own...my own way (with a few exceptions of course). I don't know...it's been on my mind so I thought that I would share.

Other random news...I am an official employee at Panera Bread! It's pretty fantastic to know that I have a job and that I will soon be very busy! Thanks so much for all of your prayers and encouragement! I know I say it in every post...but seriously, I'm so grateful!

Love&Peace,
Me

BTW...Starfield has some pretty fantastic songs! :)

All You Need Is Love

Happy Valentines Day!! : )

So I know that I haven't posted in a while...and I'm sorry. There hasn't been anything too exciting for me to post...so yeah. But I do have some very exciting news! I finally found a job!! God is sooo good isn't He? Oh, but it's at Panera Bread! I love, love, love that place and I'm so happy that they hired me. I love my bosses already...they are so nice and friendly and I know that I am going to love working for them.

It has been hard, just because I haven't had any cash flow at all and now I need to go buy work clothes...so this is going to be really interesting. But I know that if God provided me a job, that he will provide all the other things that I need. :)

Thank you so much everyone for praying for me and encouraging me through this time of my life. I have learned so much in this month that I've been away from home. God is so good to me, and he continues to show me areas in my life that I need to work on and need to be humble in.

Love&Peace,

Me

Here I am...

"Shout for joy to God, all the earth; sing the glory of his name; give to him glorious praise! Say to God, "How awesome are your deeds! So great is your power that your enemies come gringing to you. All the earth worships you and sings praises to you; they sing praises to your name." ... Bless our God, O peoples; let the sound of his praise be heard, who had kept our soul among the living and has not let our feet sleep. For you, O God, have tested us; you have tried us as silver is tried. You brought us into the net; you laid a crushing burden on our backs; you let men ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water; yet you have brought us out to a place of abundance."
Psalm 66: 1-4, 8-12

I'm still praying...still seeking a job. But in all I'm seeking after God!

Thanks for your love...
