Beach + music = love

Me and my family are at the beach for the weekend...we decided to crash at a hotel in Daytona and it has been so much fun.

>I had so much fun this weekend! Friday night Mallory and I drove down to Orlando to hang with our friends that we (especially me) missed like crazy!! We went to Erics house and hung out with him, Sarah, and Chris for a while...then we went to the McGayhes to be with Emily and us three and Michael watched a really weird movie till 3am. Saturday morning I woke up at 9:30am and I couldn't fall back alseep. (I think I had too much on my mind) Emily and Mallory slept till noon.
>Saturday was a chill day...we went to the mall and met up with Brandon, Stephen, and Abbott...and after us girls went to a tattoo parlor so that Emily could get her nose re-pierced and Mallory could get her cartilage pierced. That was an experience...let me tell ya! Later that night we met up with Eric, Jordan, and Taylor at the bowling alley. It was so much fun and I did sooo good! I was very surprised...it was definately a once in a lifetime thing! (hahaha) After that Emily, Mallory, and I went to the dollar theatre and saw 'The Forbidden Kingdom' and after the movie we went to our traditional Saturday night hang-out in Altamonte...Steak N' Shake!! We didn't stay up late becuase we all wanted to be well-rested for church the next morning.
>Church was awesome...and it was so good to see all of my friends!! For lunch a group of us went to Sunny's and then hung out at Metro...watching the guys play basketball.

It was fun...I didn't want to leave...=<

Today has been a dreary day...which makes me sad...and tired too! I can't wait till Friday...family vacation is going to be so much fun! And I get to see my besties!!

I just weighed myself today...and I have lost a couple pounds (plus a few inches)! My pants are gettin' baggy - which for me is so exciting!
I made a pact with myself after school ended that I was going to lose all my semester weight...and then some. I feel so much better and I find that I sleep better too. I love to run and I started to do Pilates...which is sooo killer!!

This weekend I am headed down to Orlando with Mal. I was planning a trip with my friend Brittany, but things didn't work out with that and so I figured that I would still head down there to hang...and Mallory was so up for it! (Yay for my par-tay chick!) And next weekend I am headed over to Daytona with my family and I am so excited for some BEACH TIME!!

So I need to go run a few errands but I will leave you with a verse that I have been meditating on for the past couple days:

I made a decision!!

I'm going blonde...but it will be a gradual change. As of this august I will have officially had really dark hair for a year. lol I need a change!

Boston lost on Tuesday night =< but we are totally going to dominate tomorrow night! It's so funny because I'm really not into basketball...but once the finals start...I am the biggest fan you will ever meet! hahaha (Ima loser)

So I don't know if I have written about this, but I got a new job with a family! I am watching a 21 month old girl named Hailey and I absolutely love her! It's so nice being able to communicate with someone and she was raised in a great family and she is so much fun to be with! I only work two days a week, which is a bummer, but I am hoping to find a second family or maybe even a part-time job.

I can't wait till next weekend! It's starts off a crazy month! I will have something to do like every weekend for a month and a half. Yay to be busy!! I really miss having school to do. I can't wait till the fall...two and a half years left!! It's going to be a journey...but I am so excited to see what God is going to do!

So I'm kinda twisting Shakespeares words around a bit...

A Blonde! (again)

I have been contemplating this for some time now...I have had dark hair for over a year and a half. I saw my high school graduation pictures and I loved my blonde hair!

So the question is...what do ya'll think? (This is from NA '06; hence the shirts)

I am so excited for the end of this month! Two weekends in a row that I will be on vacation! The 20th-22nd I will be in Orlando with Brittany and then the next weekend, the 27th-30th, I will be with my family in Daytona Beach!! I can't wait...

Go Boston!

Well I am all moved into the appartment and I seriously love being out here. I'm still "at home" but I have my independence and privacy. My friend Brittany is going to come over tomorrow and we are going to cook dinner out here. That will be an experience because I haven't cooked in here yet. :o)

I am going to start scrapbooking this weekend! I have my table all set up and ready and I ordered more pictures that I am going to pick up tomorrow. I will probably start with celebration...but I may have to start earlier than that. It's been a while since I have done any picture organizing. I love to scrapbook...this will be my third one that I have done (not including the one my mom made for me for graduation).

Oh I just found out today that Bob Kauflin posted the songlist from NA as well as live clips of some of the new songs we sang at New Attitude. He has them posted on his blog: www.worshipmatters.com

Right at this moment I am watching the NBA Finals - I am a huge Garnett fan and I am so excited that Boston made it this far. I really hope that they win!

Hide Away In The Love of Jesus

Sovereign Grace came out with a new cd titled "Come Weary Saints" and the first song is my new favorite. The whole cd is phenominal! I would highly recommend it to anyone...it has definately brought me closer in trusting God.
These past few months I have been weary and frustrated with my life. It has been so hard being here in Gainesville and learning to be content with where God has me for now. My heart has been in a different place for a very long time.
There have been many different reasons that my soul has been weary...some things I cannot write about, but one thing is I am so confused at where I should go to college. I have prayed and sought God in this matter and I know that I am not suppossed to be at UF. But where I am to go is a whole different matter. I don't know when I will leave...I don't know where I will go to finish college at...all I know is that it's all in God's good timing.
On a good note...New Attitude was absolutely amazing! God did a work in my life and I am so refreshed and I have a deeper love for Him and for His Word. One thing that I truly loved this year was the worship. I LOVE to worship...God showed me sooo many things during worship this year. And the lyrics to some of the new songs were so deep and they truly affected me. Some times I could do nothing but drop on my knees and thank God for his deep love...for sending HIS ONLY son to DIE for us! We only sang this song once during the conference but I sang it the whole time on my own and I meditated over the lyrics during my quiet time.
